Reasons to Give Thanks!

TRAININGS

MVP is already walking with many of our churches, and is always ready to walk with our congregations through training.

We value and champion “equipping the saints for the work of ministry.” Training ranges from learning how to focus your session on ministry goals, to teaching people how to pray with and for others. If you want a training, we have it!

GUIDANCE

If it’s a confusing and difficult time in the life of ministry. Old systems have failed us, and God is remaking the church for a new era. How exciting!

In this moments, congregations need empathy, time to grieve, direct challenges, and pathways forward. MVP is committed to help our churches find their unique pathway.

GROWING MISSION

We celebrate that many of our congregations participate in local and global mission. We are currently helping congregations develop a comprehensive mission strategy that meets human need and builds Christian community.

LEADERSHIP

There are many models, but it is our goal to help congregations find the leadership they need. Every church deserves organizational leaders who align the work of the church to mission goals, pastoral leadership who equips, and local mission leadership who follows and listens to Jesus in the world.

Thanks is greater than “Dues.”

We have a lot going on around MVP. Historically we have received much of our funding through Per Capita giving. In the longterm we want to build giving that is not motivated by “dues” but through faith, mission, excitement, and energy. Help us make this transformation:)

We are in this TOGETHER.

We have always said that we are a connectional church. This is true in some respects. But the exciting news is that we are finding more and more ways to be the Body of Christ together in the world. We are sharing ministry staff, developing shared mission, and learning common discipleship and leadership skills. If you feel alone in ministry, let’s chat!
